I saw this on a small plaque at my friends house. The saying on the plaque read, “Your life is God’s Gift to you, what you do with it is your gift to God.” I desperately needed to create it bigger and better for myself. It made so much sense to me then, and has only gotten more relevant today. The way we treat others is our choice. Show God the life he gave you is cherished and you choose to honor that incredible gift. Our similarities far outweigh our differences. This was my first foray into pastel pencils, and oh what a blast I had. I love the sweet, serene faces, and the soft lines of the pillow.
The original is 22” x 18”, soft pastel on Canson Mi–Teintes paper and my favorite artwork on my wall.
